PAINTBALL DREAMS

Tuesday, July 26, 2005

Today I am starting on a new job with a BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) Company. Though at first it saddened me that I couldn’t promote paintball on a full time basis but then I realized that working for this company could be very beneficial. I see opportunities to introduce the sport to the people I will be training and working with. And a boss that is willing to support me in designing and creating programs using paintball as a tool for organizational development. What can be more exciting?

Readjusting my outlook in life I bounce back with a much keener sense of direction. I say too much passion can prevent oneself from looking at things on a broader perspective; whichin turn can bring one to experience discomforting situations.

From the past month I realized the truth of the saying proper prior planning prevents pathetically poor performance. So now I am picking up the pieces, much wiser yet still eager to return and once again promote my passion.

To everyone who I have gotten to know and shared this passion for paintball:

I will be taking a short leave from the forums and sites for a couple a months while I sort out some stuff. Do know that I am not abandoning the goal of making this sport gain the respect it deserves in the Asia-Pacific Region. I shall promote it in anyway I can but probably not as active as I would want to be just for the time being.

One of the character-building values that paintball has taught me is the the importance of equipping and strengthening oneself in order to contribute more to a team. So I shall commit myself to that. First things first right?

Keep the passion for the sport ablaze and I’ll see you in the sidelines of the tournaments soon!
